Our first property is in beautiful South Kensington, opened in the summer of 2022 to great acclaim. Our next property will be nestled in the heart of the West End, due to open in in the near future The Other House Covent Garden will offer plenty of progression opportunities Whilst the initial focus is to stay in central London, the venture will roll out globally, catering for the aspirational business and leisure traveller for short and long-term stays.
Role: Junior Jack/Porter
The Other House are looking for a dynamic and energetic Porter (We call this role a Junior Jack), who has a passion for delivering impeccable experiences across all areas of the House, serving a mix of residents, members and guests. This individual needs to have a creative mindset, great guest service skills and a passion for creating memorable moments through flawless attention to details and personalised resident/member service. We are looking for an individual who effectively will deliver entrepreneurial Front of House operations with a strong focus on sustainability and cutting-edge technology. For us, there is inside the box, there is outside the box and then there are our OtherHouseMates passionate, self-driven and completely comfortable with pushing the boundaries.
About you
- Guest experience in a porter or front of house role
- Can multi task, managing multiple guest requests and transporting several items simultaneously
- Creative spark that will leave a lasting impression
- The flair for intuitive service
- Excellent command of English both verbal and written
- Second language (preferred but not essential)
- Positive, engaging personality
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong task and time management abilities
- The right to work in UK
