A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Front Office Manager to join the Front Office team at The Berkeley.

As a Front Office Manager be an established and confident leader who is genuinely passionate about creating unique guest experiences within a highly demanding and luxurious environment. You will be assisting the Director of Front of House in leading the Front Office team and ensuring a smooth running of the daily Front Office operations.

Main responsibilities of the Front Office Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and develop the Reception team.
  • Achieve the departmental objectives of maximizing occupancy.
  • Maintain and build the reputation of the hotel and ensure that business objectives are accomplished.
  • Ensure guest service is maintained to the Maybourne standards.
  • Recruitment, evaluation and development of employees as well as manage performance.
  • Ensure that training is carried out as appropriate, correcting and give constructive directions where ever it is needed.

Successful candidates for the Front Office Manager will demonstrate genuine dedication to The Berkeley and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is a fast learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the ability to work under pressure, a professional and welcoming personality and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of Opera PMS is a plus.

We anticipate applicants will have previous experience as Front Office Manager / Assistant Front Office Manager and will have worked in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.
