Senior Piping Engineer H/F

Responsibilities

SOFREGAZ looks for a Senior Piping Engineer in order to strengthen its teams and take part in international projects. You will be mainly to liaise with other discipline engineers/project control and management team members; regarding the external contact & communication, you will liaise with contractors, sub-contractor vendors/suppliers. Reporting to the Head of Piping Department, as part of your specific responsibilities, in the following area, you will :

• Lead piping engineering activities for assigned project;
• Be responsible for the good quality of deliverables under your supervision,
• Ensure schedule compliance for all deliverables and ensure the deliverable verification procedures is followed,
• Be responsible for piping design, and associated deliverables that includes but not limited to layout design, piping material selection, piping specifications, Stress analysis, MTO’s establishment, TBE etc,
• Have good knowledge on pipeline engineering (technologies, deliverable, design and calculations)
• Have good knowledge on European and American code and standards,
• Be responsible for respect of budget manhours consumption of project,
• Coordinate and follow up 3D modelling activities for project assigned,
• Follow up piping activity with subcontractors, and ensure its compliance with the project piping scope of work,
• Participate in estimation of budget manhours estimation and project schedule,
• Reporting to Head of piping department, the compliance of the activity and schedule of project handled,

Requirements

• Engineering degree in mechanical/piping engineering,
• 10 years in piping engineering in the oil and gas industry with 05 years as piping lead engineer. LNG project experience is a plus;
• Hard skills : Extensive experience in the development of piping engineering deliverable andengineering follow up activities , etc,
• Soft Skills : Ease in written & verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, able to report in a consistent and clear manner on work in own area of responsibility, proactive and energetic,
• Languages : Good commend of the English and French languages.
