Civil Engineer Project Manager - Fort Lauderdale/West Palm Beach

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Engineer to join our Civil Engineering Department. This is an exceptional opportunity to become a key member of our highly qualified, collaborative, and motivated team. Our engineering team provides assistance with planning, design, and construction for water and wastewater treatment, distribution, collection, and transmission infrastructure projects as well as stormwater, roadway and site development.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Manage client and team through the life of a project starting from proposal preparation to construction close out.
* Technical evaluation and design focused on stormwater, site design, and water/wastewater treatment, distribution, collection, and transmission.
* Technical knowledge and ability in applying principles of engineering.
* Preparation and review of engineering design reports, plans and specifications.
* Permitting applications and coordination, calculations, and/or other engineering analysis required to produce a set of construction drawings and engineering reports.
* Perform periodic construction observations of projects.
* Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, proposal preparation, coordination with clients, public agencies, other consultants, contractors, and vendors.
SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelors in Engineering required
* FL Professional Engineering license required
* Minimum 5 years experience
* Have solid computer skills and experience using MS Office programs
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Exercise initiative and display independent judgment
* Be self-directed and self-motivated
* AutoCAD experience
* Manage various tasks on several concurrent projects and must be able to follow these tasks through to completion within the allocated period of time and the monetary budget assigned
