Assistant Restaurant Manager for Private Members Club in St James - £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Join our clients beautiful private members club in the heart of St. James's as an Assistant Restaurant Manager. We are seeking an experienced individual with a background in Michelin-starred dining to contribute to our clients exceptional team. With a fine dining restaurant that seats 70-80 guests, you'll be part of a renowned establishment known for its superb service, exquisite cuisine, and a dedicated team of 20 Sommeliers.
If you're enthusiastic about delivering unforgettable dining experiences and thrive in upscale hospitality, this role is tailor-made for you. Michelin star experience is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and maintaining our clients reputation.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless food service and menu adherence.
- Inspire and lead the restaurant staff, providing guidance for outstanding guest satisfaction.
- Manage staff schedules efficiently, balancing operational needs and work-life harmony.
- Support the Sommeliers team to elevate wine service and knowledge within the staff.
- Utilise your Michelin star experience to enhance all aspects of service and presentation.
- Maintain meticulous organisation to ensure smooth service flow and customer-focused attention.
- Work closely with the Restaurant and Operations Manager and department heads to contribute to the club's success.
Requirements:
- Proven Assistant Restaurant Manager experience in fine dining or Michelin-starred environments.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills for effective team guidance.
- Passion for delivering outstanding service and crafting memorable dining moments.
- Strong organisational abilities to manage high-volume covers.
- Prior wine knowledge is advantageous, but we offer training for enthusiastic learners.
- Positive attitude, eager to learn and improve continually.
- Immediate availability is preferred due to the urgency of the position.
