WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A MAINTENANCE MANAGER?

As Maintenance Manager at RIU Plaza London Victoria, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our hotel's physical infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing and supervising the engineering team, including technicians and maintenance staff, to ensure efficient and effective operation of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Planning and executing preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal functionality of all building systems.

Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Coordinating with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.

Managing the budget for the engineering department, monitoring expenses, and ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.

Ensuring the implementation of energy conservation measures and sustainable practices in line with the hotel's environmental initiatives.

Collaborating with other departments to support their operational needs and ensure a seamless guest experience.

Maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and warranties.

Overseeing the hotel's fire safety and emergency response procedures, conducting drills and training to ensure the safety of guests and staff.

This is a full-time position, offering 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based on business needs.
