The Restaurant

Our Restaurant, a beautifully appointed, glass-fronted chamber, will offer our guests the relaxed freedom to enjoy our authentic South African food.

Responsibilities

Working with our South African Head Chef you will learn how to prepare traditional Afrikaans food such as Amasi mieliepap, waterblommetjie, Bobotie and other delicious, tried and tested recipes.

Our kitchen has state-of-the-art equipment so that our chef's focus is always on our food - ensuring each dish is as beautiful as the next. Our dishes will always be fresh and seasonal, with our chefs using produce both from our kitchen garden and our trusted local suppliers.

You will be expected to be an all rounder who enjoys the pastry section as much as the hot kitchen and assist in all of the daily cooking and baking responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum experience in 1 years in a similar upmarket establishment
• Keen eye for detail
• Relevant cooking and baking experience
• Take direction well
• Work well in a team
• Be an excellent communicator
