Duty Engineer

Are you a versatile, quick-thinking, and highly skilled engineer? Interested in developing your career in a world-leading luxury hotel? Then Rocco Forte Hotels would love to invite you to join our vital Maintenance department as an engineer.

As an experienced, accredited engineer, you will work with our Chief Engineer to ensure the highest standards of maintenance, quality, and safety — responsible for preventative maintenance work, regular safety and maintenance inspections across our rooms, suites, restaurants, bars, guest facilities, and back-of-house areas, carrying out remedial work on all areas across our hotel as required. Ideally, you will have well-rounded maintenance knowledge with a plumbing qualification. An SVQ Level 2, plumbing qualification would be desirable. You will be organised and a meticulous worker, be patient, and have exceptional attention to detail. Good communication skills will also be beneficial as you will interact with hotel guests as well as team members at the hotel.
