Second Chef

We have an exciting opportunity at our Secondary School site in Liphook for a Second Chef to join the team at Accent working 35 hours per week Monday to Friday, term time only.

Shift pattern: 7am to 3pm with 30min unpaid break.

The food offer is fresh food cooked from scratch so excellent culinary skills are required with a passion for giving children the best possible lunch experience. You will be working with a team of staff and you will report to the Chef Manager.

• Have a proven track record of continually improving standards
• Have good communication skills at all levels
• Be passionate about food with a great eye for detail
• The ability to lead a team
• The ability to manage the kitchen and train the team to standards required
• Have a desire to learn and grow with us as a company
• Have financial and budget awareness
• The ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books
• Innovative person with a positive out going disposition and a can-do approach

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.
