PUBLIC AREA CLEANERS

Department - Housekeeping
Hours - 8-24 hours per week

JOB PURPOSE
The Escapade Public Area Cleanersare responsible formaintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas within out establishment. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression and enhancing the overall experience of our guests.
The Public Area Cleaners entrusts with the responsibility of upholding the brand's standards to ensure the best guest experience. This entails fulfilling customer requirements, fostering employee contentment and maintaining positive relationships within the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To create and implement a best-in-class and award-winning guest experience through:
Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning duties in public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, and other high-traffic zones. Report any maintenance issues, such as burned out light bulbs or broken fixtures, to the appropriate department for timely solutions.
Maintaining High Standards: Keeping all public areas in immaculate condition and safe such as carpets, hard floor surfaces. Dust and wipe surfaces, including furniture, fixatures and decorative items to maintain a tidy appearance. Empty and replace bins ensuring proper disposal and recycling practices are followed. Clean and sanitize public restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors and other fixtures.
Guest Assistance: Provide friendly and responsive service to guests, addressing any specific requests or concerns promptly and professionally.Provide courteous assistance to guests, customers and employees, responding to inquiries and requests professionally.
Lost and Found: Collect and report any lost items to the Lost and Found department.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, including the proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and follow company policies and guidelines.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient turnover of rooms and maintain cleanliness in public areas.
Sustainability: To promote, implant and act with the sustainability initiatives as directed by EscapadeSilverstone

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or any other lifestyle/ distinctive brand is desirable but not required.
A strong,yet positive guest service style
Organized and ability to work within the team or on their own
Strong interpersonal skills
A good command of the English language. Additional languages are advantageous
Maintains impeccable personal grooming standards while radiating an aura of elegance and refinement
Full clean UK driving licence is desirable
