Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Manage staff schedules, inventory, and supply orders to maintain optimal levels and minimize waste.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service. Address customer feedback promptly and professionally to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage the restaurant and bars financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the head chef and bar staff to create and update menus that reflect seasonal trends and customer preferences. Ensure consistency in food and drink quality.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the restaurant and bar adhere to all health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and food hygiene standards. Maintain accurate records and ensure all necessary certifications are up-to-date.
  • Marketing & Events: Work with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities, special events, and marketing strategies that drive traffic and enhance the venues reputation.
  • Stock & Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and conducting regular inventory checks. Implement measures to reduce wastage and control costs.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on financial performance, customer satisfaction, and staff development. Use data to inform decisions and implement improvements.
