Catering General Manager
Cheshire, England
£45,000 per annum + excellent benefits

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Catering General Manager to oversee operations at our Cheshire site, which includes retail, staff dining, vending, and standard hospitality services. This is a critical leadership role where you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service, efficiency, and quality across all aspects of our catering operations.

As the General Manager you will have proven previous experience in a management role in retail catering, hospitality or contract and be an entrepreneurial and commercially focused manager.
We are looking for individuals who are innovative and can bring in new ideas and who are enthusiastic about developing with the company as they grow. Success in this role will come from being able to deliver exceptional customer service, whilst motivating and supporting your team in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a dynamic team to deliver outstanding food and service experiences.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including retail outlets, staff dining, vending services, and hospitality events.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met with innovative and tailored solutions.
  • Drive operational efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on quality and service delivery.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.


Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a General Manager in a similar contract catering environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional communication and client management abilities.
  • A solid track record of driving operational excellence and meeting financial targets.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, health, and safety standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
