The Grill Room, established in. 1865, we are very proud to serve our traditional Afternoon Tea. The seasonal menu variations have been created by our pastry team. The experience begins with an array of classic tea sandwiches, before moving on to homemade scones served with strawberry preserve, earl grey jelly and clotted cream. Finally guests enjoy a selection of delicate patisseries created by our exceptionally talented pastry team.

The Grill Room is open 7 days a week, from 12.00pm midday to the last sitting at 5.30pm.

We have an opportunity for a skilled Waiter/Waitress and we are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable individual with a passion for luxury levels of service to join the afternoon tea team. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers from all over the world.

Your role

As aWaiterin ourAfternoon Tea Loungeyou will welcome both visitors and hotel guests. As well as service delivery you will also provide advice and guidance to guests to compliment guest menu choices and enhancing their overall dining experience. Finally you will have both the poise and sophistication to deliver an elegant and personalised service to our guests.

Your profile

• A natural elegance and passion for providing a luxurious level of service that is personalised, confident and calm
• Previous experience as a Commis Waiter or Waiter ideally gained within a brasserie in a luxury hotel, a casual fine dining restaurant or the like
• Excellent knowledge and appreciation of food & wine
• Your communication skills will be exceptional with the confidence to build strong working relationships and connect with guests visiting us from all over the world - fluentlevel of spoken English is essential and another language is advantageous
• Immaculate personal grooming
• Flexibility to mornings, evening and weekend shifts
