If you are a passionate cyclist, with some experience as a Video Creator, then the GCN Team may have the perfect role for you. As one of our Video Creators, you will get to travel to fantastic shoot locations, and film our Presenters for the GCN Channel. You'll need to be confident on a road bike, as you'll be riding with the team to get the best shots possible!

Day to day, you will be filming and editing content for the GCN channels. Whilst the role is based from our offices in Bath, you will have to travel to work on location shoots, both in the UK and abroad. Therefore, you'll need the right to work in the UK, as well as a valid passport and full UK driving licence.

Video Creators are responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for publishing on our channels. The material may include camera footage, images, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Filming and recording shoots
  • Using your creativity to film engaging content that reflects Play Sports Networks' brand and the GCN Channels
  • Editing and assembling footage using Adobe Premier Pro
  • Travelling to shoots in the UK and abroad
  • Handling and looking after company filming equipment, and making sure that it is always used within PSG's equipment guidelines
  • Liaising with Production Coordinators to ensure that filming schedules are up to date and that shoots can go ahead on time
  • Working with in-house Graphic Designers and Motion Graphic Designers to ensure that graphics are ready on schedule
  • Working with our Audience Development team to help provide them with cuts for thumbnails and images for social media channels

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with location and studio filming
  • Skilled road cyclist. You'll need to be confident with filming content from the back of a bike, and riding in road locations for shoots.
  • Proficient with video editing software – Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar
  • Comfortable shooting video, and operating lights and audio equipment.
