Burnley Leisure & Culture is a £7.5m not-for-profit registered charity based in Burnley who operate leisure, culture and hospitality venues across the town.
Our commercial hospitality business has grown over the past 10 years and now generates £1.3m towards the trusts charitable aims of making peoples lives, healthier, culturally enriched whilst providing value for money for all.
We are on the lookout for a talented chef who wants to join us on this exciting journey, supporting our venues head chefs in creating fresh, innovative, high quality food in our bistro's. If you have banqueting and event experience that's a bonus as we have the capacity to cater for events for up to 300 people.
If you enjoy a job that has a great work life balance then we have that on offer too. The role is full time and a permanent contract that will see you work 36.25 hours per week, mainly daytimes with the occasional evening shift paid overtime. Plus you will get Christmas and New Year off work!

You will be joining a team of 9 talented chefs who all share in the same passion, you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays but we aim to offer a balance of times off when we create our staffing schedule.
Our ideal candidate has at least two years experience in a chef role within a busy kitchen and has the skills to create fresh dishes during busy service.
