An ASC is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. Syracuse, New York is centrally located in the heart of New York State. Here youll enjoy exploring the scenic outdoor parks, fantastic food scene, and year-round festivals. The privileging timeframe for this opportunity is 14 days, with case types including General and Ortho. Board certification or fellowship is not required, and candidates must already hold a state license. The shifts are 10 hours, with regular hours being mandatory, and no in-house call or pager-based on-call duties are needed during weeknights or weekends. Overtime is not expected but is available. The facility has eight anesthesia rooms, and MDs supervise CRNAs at a ratio of 4 to 1. MDs do not handle their own cases. Proficiency in performing blocks is preferred.
