Description:

We are a Christ-centered Integrative medicine clinic that uses principles of Functional Medicine and Conventional Medicine to tackle everything from the common cold to chronic disease.

We are looking for a person who has a passion for natural healing, a warm personality, and a strong desire to work in a small family-friendly environment. Of course, our ideal candidate would be well-trained in all aspects of the treatments we offer to our patients. However, the reality is that our medicine is so specialized that we expect to train whomever we hire. The most basic requirement is that you be comfortable drawing blood from patients of all ages, and you need to possess the initiative to handle patient requests and to meet needs, within the scope of your training, without constant oversight.

Every member of our Whole Health staff is cross-trained on many taks, but the primary responsibilities for this endeavor are to work directly in adminstering IV therapies to patients, and drawing blood for lab tests.

This is a full-time position, M -F, 8 to 4.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Administering IV therapies from start to finishRecord vitals
Prepare IV bags
Start IV and administer
Care for the patient/client as they are receiving the IV


Collect blood, urine, etc for lab testsVenipuncture
Prepare and send samples with requisition forms to appropriate labs
Instruct patient on proper preparation for the various specialty labs we perform


Assist on the occassional minor procedure. (we do not perform many procedures here)
Performing EKGs

Other responsibilities may include:
Inventory management Assist in keeping our supplies stocked, to include everything from needles to vitamins and pharmaceuticals


Front Office TasksTyping encounter notes into our EMR for every IV therapy, and occassionally for the doctors visits
Handling prescription refill requests
Cross-training to run the front desk
Answer phones
Handle Rx refills
Communicate with patients



Because of the highly specialized care that we deliver, your first couple weeks will be spent learning our systems and getting acquainted our style of doing things. We are only interested in candidates that will consider taking on this position for the long-term.
