Advanced Renovation Group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from conception to completion. This role requires a combination of leadership, coordination, and technical skills to successfully manage multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will also be able to travel to project sites weekly, work in a hybrid capacity from home or out of the main HQ in Buffalo, MN, and fly to projects as needed to be onsite.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Project Planning:
    • Develop and refine project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure project viability.
  • Budget Management:
    • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
    • Monitor expenses closely and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
    • Prepare accurate cost estimates and financial forecasts to maintain project profitability.
  • Schedule Management:
    • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying critical path activities.
    • Monitor progress and adjust timelines as needed to ensure timely project completion.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to align with project milestones.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Assemble, lead, and motivate diverse project teams, including contractors and subcontractors.
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to team members.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment to ensure project success.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Implement risk management plans to minimize project disruptions.
    • Proactively address and resolve issues that arise during construction.
  • Quality Control:
    • Establish and enforce quality standards for all construction work.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
    • Implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
    • Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and milestones.
    • Facilitate effective communication between all project team members.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and other relevant standards.
    • Obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction activities.
    • Collaborate with regulatory authorities to address and resolve compliance issues.
  • Procurement and Contract Management:
    • Manage the procurement process for materials and services.
    • Negotiate and administer contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
    • Ensure that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.
  • Health and Safety:
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any concerns promptly.
    • Promote a safety culture among all project team members.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to stakeholders.
    • Document project activities, decisions, and changes to ensure transparency.
    • Compile comprehensive project documentation for future reference.
  • Post-Construction Evaluation:
    • Conduct a thorough evaluation of completed projects to assess success and areas for improvement.
    • Document lessons learned and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
    • Close out projects, including finalizing financials and obtaining necessary approvals.

The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • 5 Years of Proven experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager, with a strong track record in managing commercial and multi-unit projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project, Procore, or equivalent.
