Field Service Engineer

Our South Yorkshire based client is currently looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team!

Field Service Engineer - Peterborough / Northampton / Corby

Area covered: UK Wide

Salary: £35-40k (overtime available)

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (Travel to and from site paid as overtime)

They are a very well established, manufacturing business, part of a larger group of companies and Headquartered in Germany. As they continue to innovate and expand their product offerings, we are seeking an enthusiastic Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team. They are the world’s leading systems provider for IT infrastructures including Enclosures, Power Distribution and Climate Control to name a few.

What will the Field Service Engineer be doing?

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, installation and trouble shooting of a very diverse Product range.
• Installation Work
• Trouble Shooting of product issues at customer sites
• Telephone support for customers
• Hands on training of internal staff on product rang
• Occasional support in on-site workshop facility
• Supporting internal staff with product queries

What will we be looking for in the Field Service Engineer?

• Able to travel throughout the UK and be able to lodge away when needed in order to undertake the role effectively.
• Able to train overseas in Germany when required
• Customer Centric Approach
• Basic understanding of electrical drawings and wiring
• Previous engineering or servicing experience
