A senior role within the business taking on responsibility for the operation of the restaurant, bar and cafe with a general overseeing of the guest bedrooms above (checking guests in and out and dealing with general queries and requests).
Main duties involve opening and closing the business: setting the room for service and readying the team for a day of hospitality or closing down at night and bidding guests a warm farewell.
General duties include maintaining staffing levels, offering the utmost in hospitality to our guests, liaising with the kitchen over specials and availability, maintaining a spotless guest and staff working environment, upselling and promoting the growth and development of the business, involvement with social media, input over products and service issues, dealing with guest queries and complaints, weekly ordering of stock and so on.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Manage staff schedules and performance
- Opening & closing duties
- Handle customer complaints and queries
- Maintain health and safety standards
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Flexibility to work morning, evenings and weekends
