New Business Advisor

Permanent and Full Time Fixed Term Contracts ending up to January 2025 available.

Shifts between the hours or 8am-8pm and Saturday rotations including bank holidays.
Tongwell, Milton Keynes

We are looking for two enthusiastic and passionate people to join our business. We have two vacancies available one on a permanent and one on a contract basis. This is an entry level role into our organisation and will offer the right candidate the opportunity to start a long and prosperous career here. Previous experience isn't necessary, we are looking for people who are computer literate, comfortable on the phone and customer focused, apart from that, we can teach you the rest!

In return you will be offered a salary from £23,200 which increases as your knowledge grows and given an annual leave allowance of 27 days per annum plus bank holidays. We have an onsite wellbeing centre that offers free health checks and lunch time physio if needed, you will be based from our Head office in Tongwell Milton Keynes which also offers free parking has an on-site restaurant, coffee shop and based within a beautiful part of Milton Keynes for lunchtime walks too! - We also offer a very generous pension scheme, lifestyle discounts, such as cinema and gym memberships and so much more that we can tell you about on our Assessment Centre.

Day to day as a New Business Advisor you will be responsible for processing documents for finance submitted by Volkswagen Group Dealers and Retailers - verifying details and ensuring speedy pay-out to get customers in their cars. About the role

  • Responding to dealer enquiries, mainly by phone.
  • Entering / handling customer and dealer data via internal systems that processing procedures and response time guidelines are followed, with speed and accuracy being paramount.
  • Validating customer documentation with proposal details when received and authorising appropriate payment to the dealer.
  • Close liaison with other business areas including Customer Services.
  • Maintaining your level of understanding of the FCA regulations to ensure you are competent to fulfil your role.

About you

  • Full PC literacy essential
  • Excellent written and spoken communication capabilities.
  • Previous customer service centre, call centre or finance company experience is desirable.
  • An understanding of the Data Protection Act and Consumer Credit Act is desirable.
  • Strong customer service focus essential and a customer friendly manner at all times.
  • Able to demonstrate systematic thought processes.
  • Able to cope with pressure and meet deadlines, and to work a flexible working pattern incl. evenings and weekends plus some Bank Holidays
