About the Role:

Our client, a charming and intimate country house hotel located in the picturesque Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, is on the lookout for a dedicated and passionate Head Chef. This busy hotel, known for its beautiful setting, not only offers luxurious accommodation but also serves as the ideal venue for weddings, social events, business meetings, or a round of golf.

As the Head Chef, you will lead a team of 7, with the creative freedom to design and develop your own menus. Your culinary expertise will be showcased across various dining experiences, including the hotel's restaurant, afternoon tea service, light meals in the bar, private dining events, and the traditional Sunday lunch.

Head Chef Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
• Develop and innovate menus that cater to diverse dining options within the hotel.
• Oversee the entire kitchen operation, from procurement to service, maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and inspire your team, fostering a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Head Chef Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef, particularly within quality-focused hotels.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team.
• Passionate about food, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Excellent communication skills, both within the kitchen and with other departments.
• High-level culinary skills paired with a good understanding of kitchen finances.
