Fire & Security Service Engineer

Here at Fire Safe Services, were looking for a Fire & Security Engineer to join our team based in the Midlands. You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance on fire and security systems for our clients.. This is a new opportunity to lead the service and maintenance and we welcome interest from candidates who have a track record of operations in Fire & Security systems.

What we offer:

Were looking to offer a salary of £30,000 - £38,000 for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition, we offer a company van, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) plus your birthday off as an additional day, and if it falls on a weekend you can take this on a Friday or Monday, paid travel and overtime rates paid up to double rates, as well as a quarterly bonus scheme.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Regular routine servicing and repairs of various fire alarm systems, and other associated systems.
• Reactive calls and repairs to a high standard aiming for first time fix
• Ensuring high-standard service inspections are performed within agreed timescale
• Completing detailed and accurate reports using app technology and ensuring that an accurate and high standard of company documentation is maintained.

Experience required for the role:

• Minimum 2 years experience in fire and security systems, but if you have less, please do still apply, we would like to speak to you regardless
• An understanding of relevant British Standards, in particular clauses relating to servicing, maintenance
• Notifier training desirable but training can be given for the right candidate
• Full UK driving licence is essential
