Chef de Partie

We're looking for an Chef de Partie to joinourteam at the Pendulum Hotel and Manchester Conference Center. We are a busy Conference and Events driven venue and require someone with passion for food, cleaning and general hard work. With drive and enthusiasm we can help your career as a chef flourish!

Please note: This is a full-time permanent role, you'll be working 40 hours per week 5 in 7 days.

Duties

• Maintaining high standards of hygiene
• Preparing the ingredients for a more senior chef
• Be able to cook dishes from scratch with little or no support
• Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately
• Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation
• Learn and develop your skill ready for the next level in your career
• Support our kitchens management team in ordering

The successful candidate will be an excellentcommunicator, a passion for food and be dedicated to learning a new trade.You'll becomfortablewith working using your owninitiative, and able to follow direction.
