Site Safety and Compliance Officer

We are looking for an objective Site Safety and Compliance Officer, to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of site operations. Supporting the Euro Car Parks operations team to deliver Best in Class operational standards by ensuring all sites are Clean, Safe, Compliant and that we are maximising the opportunities available.

Responsibilities

Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operational effectiveness and compliance with applicable company standards and legislation.

Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans to visit sites in an effective and efficient manner within defined geographical areas, by assessing internal controls and their implementation.

Document process and prepare audits for the operations team to allow for the improving or maintaining of company standards, along with current business focus areas.

Prepare and present reports in a timely manner which reflect audit results, including considered recommendations for improvement to ensure sites are clean, safe, compliant and maximising opportunities.

Build both company and sector knowledge to enable you to act as an objective source of independent advice, regarding rules, best practices and techniques.

Conduct follow up processes for action planning implementation and audits to monitor management interventions.

Requirements and skills

High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

Ability to process recorded data to compile detailed reports

Good computer skills to utilise software tools to deliver given responsibilities

Excellent organisational and planning skills.

Effective communications skills, to adapt delivery of messaging appropriate to audience.

The ideal candidate will be based centrally to support with national coverage.
