Job Description

AFleet Engineering Assistantis required to assist with the checking in and out of assets. Preparation of the assets for Rent and the movement of assets as and when required.

In Checks
  • Greet customers/agencies returning assets, carry out thorough check in procedure,documenting all relevant information relating to asset and capturing damages by photograph.
  • Update vehicle movement log accordingly.

Out Checks
  • Greet customers/agencies collecting assets, carry out thorough check out procedure,documenting all relevant information relating to asset and capturing damages by photograph.
  • Update vehicle movement log accordingly.

Yard Movement
  • Carry out yard movements as required, to create space for additional assets or to access assets,which were not previously accessible.

Collection & Delivery
  • Movement of vehicles to and from repairers, collecting AAG drivers, collecting parts as required.

Valet
  • Carry out valet to prepare rental assets for rental ready line.

External Check In & Outs
  • Carry out In and Out Checks of assets on customers site, prior to return to AAG, or before moving between customers sites.

R2C Job Loading
  • Loading asset check ins, listing all defects, and attaching relevant photographs.
  • Circulate information to all necessary AAG staff as required


Sales Handover

  • Move and make ready assets in preparation of collection by sales customer.

Yard Check
  • Carry out monthly yard check, noting all assets on site. Consolidate against vehicle movement log,ensuring all assets on site are accounted for.

Person Specification
Requirements
  • Excellent and effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT skills Internal systems, Microsoft, Excel and Outlook etc.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and equally un-supervised
  • Proactive with a keen attention to the smallest of details
  • HGV class 1 with demonstrable experience

  • Customers (Mainly Fleet / Transport Teams)
