Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate professional cookery skills in front of large groups of students, ensuring clear and engaging communication.
• Manage a kitchen classroom with 20-30 students, guiding them through practical cooking lessons.
• Deliver exciting and educational cooking demonstrations that align with the school's curriculum.
• Assist and supervise students in preparing a range of dishes, ensuring safety and skill development.
• Provide hands-on teaching, ensuring students grasp essential cooking techniques and kitchen safety.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to create lesson plans that integrate culinary arts with educational outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a professional chef is essential.
• Experience in a teaching or demonstrative role is highly valued, but those with a strong desire to teach will also be considered.
• Confident public speaking and ability to engage with large groups.
• Ability to manage a busy classroom environment, providing guidance and support to students.
• Knowledge of food safety, health & hygiene regulations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
