Calling all tech savvy IT enthusiasts! Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with a successful trust called David Ross Trust who are on the hunt for another IT Support Technician apprentice to join their team and be an instrumental part of their next stage of growth!


David Ross Trust?have previously supported many apprentices in the past and are looking for someone to become a key member of team and even one day be in a position where theyre leading their own team.

As an IT Apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for the delivery of an effective ICT support service throughoutthe academy to respond to identified need, ensure continuity of service andachieve planned reporting objectives and deadlines.


In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Microsoft Information Technician qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.


A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Carries out routine IT support tasks as set out in the maintenance plan by line manager
  • Checks the service desk for tickets assigned by the system, and actively picks up others when able
  • Supports the resolution of IT support issues from the service desk, ensuring the users are able to return to normal operation as rapidly as possible
  • Assists in carrying out planned changes to the academy system as required
  • Carries out any scheduled works (such as patches) as directed
  • Carries out any routine checks and maintenance tasks on the system as directed
  • Remains alert for any problem with IT security at the site, assisting with resolving any problems and investigating the cause

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.


Salary, Hours&Benefits:

  • Salary -17,000

  • Passion for IT

  • Communication skills - Written and verbal
  • Dedicated to learning and development
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to prioritise tasks
  • Grade 5/C in English and 4/C in Maths GCSE
