The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction best practices and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day construction activities and ensure project timelines are met
- Provide leadership and direction to construction teams
- Create and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations
- Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and subcontractors
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry
- Experience in high end restaurant and retail construction
- Strong understanding of construction best practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with bid preparation and negotiating with subcontractors
- Nice to have: Experience with big box retail construction and travel
