Our client is a mid-sized General Contractor and Developer in the St. Louis, Missouri area. They are focused on ground-up projects in the hospitality sector. They are looking to bring on a Construction Project Manager who has the ability to hit the ground running and aspirations to grow within the firm.

Job Description

Reporting directly into the VP, the main duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager will include the following:

• Plans and coordinates project activities inline with company polices and procedures
• Collaborates with clients from the preconstruction phase through closeout
• Builds open and honest long-term relationships with clients
• Creates and reviews project schedules
• Direct and coordinate with field crews and superintendents to ensure project delivery
• Communicates effectively, establishes and fosters relationships with architects, engineers and subcontractors
• Responsible for forecasting and estimating costs and changes to costs for project completion
• Ensure safety protocols are being adhered to on the job site
• Creates a welcoming work environment
• Sets the tone each day

The Successful Applicant

In return for a competitive compensation package, the successful candidate will possess the following:

• Construction related degree
• At least 5+ years of experience as a project manager with a general contractor
• Experience in commercial or hospitality renovations/ ground-up preferred
• Ability to adapt to different client needs
• Experience with $10M+ projects preferred
• Works and communicates efficiently
• Open to travel (every other week 2-3 days)
