Construction Superintendent - Restaurants
Fairfax, VA
$65-$75K / year plus bonus
Family-owned General Contracting Firm based in Northern VA. Our Superintendents are one of the most important parts of building and maintaining these relationships and our current supers each have over 25 years on the job with us.
About the job: This is a full-time position which requires on-site work at changing locations. As a site superintendent you will coordinate and oversee daily activities on the jobsite, constantly focus on maintaining the schedule, and report daily to a project manager and client management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage subcontractor, tenant vendor, and LL contact lists.
- Schedule, coordinate, and oversee daily activities on site.
- Maintain daily logs and create weekly reports with the project manager to distribute to a client team of management, architects, and engineers.
- Work closely with the design team to quickly troubleshoot and solve issues that may arise to maintain the schedule.
- Protect the budget for the job and escalate issues of cost to management for quick resolution.
- Schedule and oversee inspections and work closely with inspectors to adhere to jurisdictional requirements as requested.
Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years' experience in commercial/retail construction.
- High School Diploma - General knowledge of commercial construction with lived experience.
- General knowledge of Microsoft office products.
- Eager to learn and apply new knowledge.
- Provide the highest level of customer service and client focus.
Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 Per Year
