This opportunity is for a Senior Product Manager to join an established product team on a mission to simplify and transform the world of work.

You will be responsible as part of an agile product trio (Product Manager, Product Designer and Technical lead) operating as an empowered product team centered around a specific domain and problem space. You will own leading the product discovery and product delivery activities, formulating a medium-term product roadmap and driving impact through focus on delivering measurable improvements in customer and business outcomes as part of our OKR framework.

We are looking for individuals who have strong product management experience and expertise, you will not necessarily need to have HR, Payroll or Finance specific knowledge, we have a great team that can help you learn the domain.

  • Research and maintain up to date knowledge on the latest Industry trends within HR, Payroll, Finance, Data, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, as appropriate to the product you are supporting.
  • Pro-actively work with customers, MHR Stakeholders and other sources of industry knowledge to gain feedback and validation.
  • Clearly define the product strategy, roadmap and backlog based on industry knowledge and feedback, after validating problems to solve, ideas and features with stakeholders prior to committing to delivery.
  • Define solutions and work with UX to help design user experiences that delight our customers, their employees and increase our competitive advantage.
  • Have a clearly defined and delivery ready backlog, produce quality feasibility documents, requirements and acceptance criteria. Manage the product backlog with continued refinement, review and prioritisation.
  • Prioritise and manage the product backlog aligned with the product vision and involve other stakeholders to foster the sharing of knowledge and ideas.
  • Work with the Engineering team(s) to ensure that new features and products are being developed and delivered efficiently and in accordance with the acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in the review of solutions throughout their development to ensure they solve the intended problem and deliver on the targeted outcomes
  • Working closely with product marketing to produce go to market kits, ensuring business readiness, supporting knowledge transfer upcoming developments and products performance in market. Plan and deliver the business requirements for product guidance/training/advice including Users Guides, Impact Analysis, Videos, etc throughout MHR (e.g. presales, bid team, service delivery, service desk, HRO).
  • Co-ordinating with marketing to promote new features/integrations, ensuring these features add benefits to customers and provide a ROI for MHR.
  • Be an advocate for the product on which you are currently working.
  • Work with Research to ensure the latest technical and sociological trends are evaluated as part of new features.
  • Depending on your role you may temporarily or permanently take responsible for one or more product teams and take-on line manager responsibilities for other Product Manager(s) where you would be responsible to mentor, coach and line manage people within your team. This should be completed to the standards and in line with the guidance of management training provided through the MHR Academy.
