Job Description

Are you ready to lead the Treasury function at the UK’s largest holiday park operator? Parkdean Resorts is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Treasury Manager to own our cash forecasting, working capital, and banking relationships on a 6-month fixed term contract. You'll lead day-to-day operations while ensuring smooth cash flow and financial stability.

What you will be doing...

  • Lead the Treasury team, ensuring that each team member is fully supported and highly motivated to deliver a first-class service.
  • Set the strategic priorities of the department, ensuring adherence with relevant legislation and internal controls.
  • Long and short-term Group Cashflow forecasts.
  • KPI reporting.
  • Be responsible for the end-to-end process for opening and closing bank accounts, signatories and user access to online banking portals.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with third parties.
  • Daily, weekly and month end reconciliations.
  • Ensure department policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated, and effectively implement process improvements.
  • Be responsible for the integrity of cashflow planning models, pursuing automation wherever possible.
  • Monitor and report on compliance with Group banking covenants, including sensitivity analysis and identifying options to optimise covenant performance.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to better understand their cashflow implications of business decisions, driving a culture of cashflow knowledge, responsibility and accountability.
  • Cash management strategy.
  • Review cash related policies, procedures and controls and implementation of new policies and relevant standards, guidelines and procedures for internal regulatory compliance.

What we’re looking for...

  • Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA, with an ACT qualification (or willingness to study for one) preferred
  • Excellent Excel modelling skills essential, with knowledge of IBM Cognos TM1 highly beneficial
  • Extensive people management and strong leadership skills
  • Experience in business partnering, cashflow modelling and forecasting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to high quality customer service
  • Strong planning, time management and organisational skills
  • Flexible and the ability to work in pressurised situations and deliver a quality product to agreed timescales
  • Experience in implementing process improvements – timeliness, accuracy and efficiency
  • Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Experience of a high-volume transactional process management.
