Live in availableOverviewWe are seeking full-time Food & Beverage Waiting Staff to join our team in Cornwall. This role offers a fabulous location, with a view of the sea and golden beach, a competitive hourly rate, with the potential for additional gratuities. The position also includes accommodation with kitchenette and bathroom facilities for a nominal fee. Responsibilities- Provide exceptional service to guests in the food and beverage department.- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality dining experiences.- Learn and demonstrate proficiency in various service skills, such as silver service and flambe.- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.- Willingness to develop new skills and progress within the hospitality industry.
Day-to-day- Greet and seat guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks.- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the dining areas.- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
The ideal person for this role will have experience from fine dining environments, have a sense of what it means to provide beautiful service and be someone who wants to develop a career in hospitality. We are ideally looking for someone who wants to learn more about skills front of house such as flambe and wine pairing.
