Head Chef

The Bowling Green Hotel is situated within the popular Chorlton Green area of Chorlton-cum-hardy, south Manchester.We are an independent, family run business, with no ties to a chain. this enables us to create our menus in-house, allowing creativity and the ability to change menus seasonally.We currently serve traditional pub fare, and average around 8k a week.a typical day in the kitchen starts at 11am and finishes at 8.30pm, with no late nights or early mornings.
we are looking for a motivated individual to lead our small team of chefs.

• your role will be to make all aspects of the kitchen run smoothly,
• motivate your team to ensure the highest standards of food and cleanliness are met,
• make sure health and hygiene regulations are adhered to and paperwork kept up to date,
• perform stocktakes and keep track of wastage,
• help create new menus that entice new customers and boost profits,
• take charge of ordering and deliveries.

your salary will reflect your ability and experience, ranging from £32,000 to £40,000 per annum, with an additional bonus scheme to be discussed once hired.
we are looking for an individual to help us elevate the kitchen and that's looking for a long term home with us.
