Job Description

We have opportunities to be part of the Build & Car Assembly team in the role of Hydraulic Technician.


The Key responsibilities of this role are:


  • The Hydraulics technician will be responsible for the assembly, service, and repair of all Hydraulic Components within the Build department.
  • Responsible to keep all build documents filled in and up to date.
  • You will be required to work to the highest standards and in accordance with the specifications, to ensure delivery, performance and reliability targets are met efficiently and on time.
  • To provide end to end support for the Race Team, F1 Evolution, and all AMR Future Projects to ensure all assemblies are available on time and as design intention.
  • Understand technical drawings and follow build instructions.
  • Strive to improve CI with-in the Hydraulics shop and AMR F1
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy working environment at all times.
  • Must be flexible to achieving workload when required outside core company hours.
  • To Support any on or off-site Dyno testing if/when required from the business.
  • To support any events or tests if/when required from the business.
  • To communicate any problems or issues through the right channels or business systems.
  • Always adhere to all Business Health and safety requirements.
  • To attend and proactively participate in meetings as required.
  • To assist in the training of any new future members of the department.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to you job role.
  • Assist other departments within the Assembly group if/when required.
  • To carry out general maintenance on all rigs and equipment needed in the servicing and testing of these assemblies.


The Successful candidate must have the following attributes:


  • Must have worked in in a Formula One environment or equivalent high-level Motorsport environment.
  • Advanced Knowledge of current F1 Hydraulic Systems, and be able to carry out builds, service, repair and tests on all assemblies.
  • Good understanding of current methodologies used in the industry.
  • Must be able to work in a team of people, and alone when required. With strong communication/Organisation skills and be respectful to all colleges.
  • Good Computer skills and be able to work from the Company Business systems.
  • Must be a Self-motivated individual who will strengthen and develop the Department.
  • Have a confident approach in your decision-making skills.
  • Possess an innovative and flexible approach to creative problem solving and possess the ability to work through challenges in a scientific and analytical manner.
  • Can achieve targets within determined timescales in a Calm and confident manner.
  • Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety
