To work as part of the Learning and Enablement function within the Professional Services department to focus on the identification, design, delivery and evaluation of training initiatives to upskill the department. This role focuses on methodology, delivery services and skills enablement. Primarily working on digital content, through eLearning, multimedia, and LMS, but also delivering instructor-led sessions in person or remote.

Enablement and communication is key to Professional Services, this role will include the creation of enablement plans to support new initiatives including communication plans, slide decks, emails and posts.

This role works seamlessly with Professional Services to support the department’s direction.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Be a trusted partner to the Professional Services department and the point of expertise for learning and development strategies.
  • Work closely with internal senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to evaluate skills gaps and devise learning plans to bridge these gaps.
  • Create thorough training programmes and materials using a range of tools with a strong focus on digital training methods.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure training programmes are aligned with their messaging and rolled out in a timely manner.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops, both in person and virtually, to facilitate learning and skill development.
  • Create multimedia content to enable communication to our teams, including communication plans,emails, videos, presentations, guides and formal eLearning outputs.
  • Keep up to date with the legislation team and create short courses to support updates in legislation related to HR and payroll.
  • Research content and training initiatives externally to support content production, keeping us up to date with learning trends.
  • Manage content and participation rates on the LMS to ensure a positive user experience.
  • Work closely with the department to identify key training requirements in-line with induction plans, upskilling requirements (individual and collective), change programme initiatives, customer feedback, and department goals.
  • Manage time effectively to work across multiple projects to tight deadlines.
  • Possess an eye for detail to proofread and check content accurately to support content consistency and quality control requirements.
  • Analyse and evaluate output on a regular basis to identify areas of improvement.
  • Ensure training documentation and key messages support the business and departmental processes and procedures.
  • To promote a positive image of MHR at all times.

Required Experience:

  • Strong experience in learning programme design and development.
  • eLearning content creation to a high standard, on complex subjects.
  • Excellent knowledge of learning methodologies and application of these.
  • Practiced in authoring communications which excite, engage and encourage actions.
  • Experience in creating well-designed, creative and clear resources such as PowerPoints, videos and/ or training material.
