Telent are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the Wireless division due to an influx of work across the MNO space. This is a hybrid working role that will see you working from home, and attending the Warwick HQ (CV34 5AH) at least 1-2 days a week - flexibility and commitment to attend is required. This Quantity Surveyor position will see you work with some UK's major Mobile Network Operators (MNO's). Telent usually work on around 20-30 Wireless Telecoms build projects per month, with sites located across the UK.

Quantity Surveyor - What you'll do:
Quantity Surveyor - Who you are:
You will have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the Wireless Telecoms / Wireless Telecoms Infrastructure industry (or a close similar), with excellent stakeholder management, estimation / estimating and cost control experience, reporting and communication skills both verbally and written. The successful Quantity Surveyor will also ideally come from the Mobile Network Operators (MNO) industry, with knowledge of the Vendor Swap Programmes; however, we are also interested in a Quantity Surveyor from either the Construction or Commercial Property industries.

Quantity Surveyor - What you'll do:
- Preparing and ensuring monthly client applications for payment are issued in accordance with the contract and timely certification and payment by the client
- Administration of contracts (with support from commercial)
- Reporting monthly on cost/value reconciliations
- Support the project manager in the preparation of claims for delay and associated quantum
- Working with the project manager to prepare and present the monthly contract review to senior management team.
- Payment and commercial management of Suppliers/Sub-Contractors
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, health and safety regulations, and quality standards
- Interpreting drawings to establish costings and providing estimates where required
Quantity Surveyor - Who you are:
You will have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the Wireless Telecoms / Wireless Telecoms Infrastructure industry (or a close similar), with excellent stakeholder management, estimation / estimating and cost control experience, reporting and communication skills both verbally and written. Quantity Surveyor - Key requirements:
- Demonstrable Quantity Surveying experience working either for the client, contractor or a Sub-Contractor
- Ideally from the Wireless Telecoms / Wireless Telecoms Infrastructure industry
- Ideally qualified to Degree level or equivalent
- Working towards the APC for MRICS or ACIOB chartership
- Possess commercial awareness
- Competent user of Microsoft Office package
