The Role:
As Chef de Partie, you will work closely under the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and Junior Sous Chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting senior chefs in the day-to-day operations of a busy gastropub kitchen.
- Assisting with planning, prepping, and cooking dishes for the menu, ensuring high standards are met.
- Delivering exceptional food quality and presentation in line with the pub's reputation.
- Maintaining cleanliness and following Health & Safety protocols at all times.
- Assisting with stock control and ensuring all ingredients are of the highest quality.
- Contributing ideas to menu development in collaboration with the senior kitchen team.
- Upholding the gastropub's strong EHO rating through rigorous hygiene practices.
