PR Executive – The Birley Clubs


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and creative PR Executive to join the Communications Team at The Birley Clubs based in Mayfair, London.


The Birley Clubs operate some of the world’s most iconic private members’ clubs; Annabel’s, Mark’s Club, George, Harry’s Bar and Bath & Racquets Club.


As PR Executive you will support the PR Manager in delivering our press and marketing strategy across all Clubs.


  • Support the wider team in drafting press releases. Proactively pitch stories to junior journalists for key campaigns and initiatives, ensuring considered and impactful media coverage relevant to each Club.
  • Ensure Press and VIP contact databases are consistently updated, accurate, and complete.
  • Track press and organic social media coverage, compiling monthly and project-based wrap reports. Assist the PR Officer with additional coverage reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Keep magazines, newspapers, and other press materials well-organised.
  • Support the PR Officer in compiling press and VIP lists for specific campaigns and events.
  • Monitor the Press Inbox, addressing international and national press enquiries and image requests promptly..
  • Stay abreast of industry news, sharing daily press updates with internal teams.
  • Act as an ambassador for The Birley Clubs, supporting efforts to protect and elevate the brand's presence.
  • Provide general support for the day-to-day operations of The Birley Clubs Press Office.
  • Regularly contribute fresh and innovative ideas to the PR team, enhancing our overarching strategy and campaigns.


We are ideally looking for candidates who:

  • Minimum of 2 years in PR within the luxury sector; experience in hospitality/lifestyle industries is advantageous.
  • A deep understanding of popular culture, current trends, and the luxury market.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organisational, planning, and time management abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, professional, and collaborative, with the ability to build and nurture strong relationships.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Highly creative, innovative, and resourceful.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and related PC packages.
