Chef de Rang

Join Emma Lonie, Restaurant Manager, and Head Chef Mathew Sherry as a Waiter/Chef de Rang in our 4 AA Rosette number one restaurant. We are a hard-working, friendly team, passionate about food, wine, and world-class service. Both part-time and full-time applications will be considered.

Highlights of the role include:

Full-time: 39 hours, 5 days per week, no split shifts

Number One offers a Seasonal Tasting menu of favourite Scottish and British produce. Current menu items may include Shetland salmon, Orkney scallops, North Sea halibut, Pittenweem lobster 45-day aged Scottish Beef, and our own Balmoral honey. We also work with prestigious international produce such as truffle and caviar and a wine cellar with over 350 listings.

The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh's most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel's majestic clock defines the city's skyline and since the day we opened in 1902 it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.
