Field Service Engineer

Siamo Recruitment are currently looking for Mechanical/Electrical service installation Engineeron a full-time basis, located in Flintshire. Our Client is aleading supplier and manufacturer of abrasive blasting equipment medias and other surface preparation and finishing equipment.

The role:

• Attending customer sites to install, commission, service and repair a range of blasting equipment.
• Provide detailed and accurate reports on the condition of the customers equipment, following onsite machine examinations.
• To investigate / identify machine problems in an emergency breakdown situation both mechanically and electrical.
• Identify situations whilst on site, where productivity or efficiency improvements to equipment can be recommended to the customer.

Requirements:

• Full Driving License.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both customer facing and with internal / external staff.
• Flexible working approach, which will include some weekend and unsociable working hours along with some overnight stays.

Hours of work:

• Basic week 8-00am to 4-30pm
• Due to the nature of the job and the location of some customers, overtime can be regularly worked and hotel stays will be required.

Certification required (courses can be booked if lapsed):

• Driving Licence
• Forklift truck licence
• IPAF
• Confined space.
