Head Chef - Celtic Royal Hotel Caernarfon
£35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience + bonus + tips
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in crafting exceptional culinary experiences.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and creativity, along with strong leadership skills to guide the kitchen staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food production in the kitchen
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
- Lead menu planning and food preparation activities
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as required
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
- Proven track record in leading and managing a team
- Excellent understanding of food safety standards
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
