Chef

The ExtraCare Charitable Trust have a fantastic opportunity for a Chef to join our friendly team at our Pannel Croft Retirement Village.

Are you an experienced Chef who is creative and likes to cook with fresh food? You could be involved with menu planning and ensuring special dietary requirements are considered as well as a varied menu of freshly cooked meals and snacks

You will also contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen within a small team.

Details:

• Role: Chef
• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Work Pattern: Flexible across 7 days a week.
• Salary: £12.60 per hour

What will you do as our Chef?

• Responsible for providing freshly cooked meals
• Offer residents an excellent choice of meals which provide good nutritional value
• Assist with other kitchen duties and ensure HACCP is followed
• Ensure the menus are prepared within budget

Our ideal Chef will :

• Have experience of working in a similar environment
• Be qualified to QFC / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Have previous experience of budgeting
• Possess high kitchen standards
• Have a presence at front of house.
