Do you make a commanding first impression? Are you impeccably presented? Ready to bring your people skills, organisational savvy, and standards of service excellence to a world-leading luxury hotel restaurant? Then Rocco Forte Hotels would love to invite you to join us as our new Host.

In this deeply people-focused role, you will support our Restaurant Manager and the team in providing a flawless welcome for our discerning guests, ensuring that our exceptional service standards are met from arrival. You will be exceptionally well-presented and an excellent natural communicator, conveying a sense of confidence and assurance in your role.

You will also have the ability to interpret, understate, and act on the needs of our guests, demonstrating discretion in your interactions and being able to communicate effectively with the Head Waiter to guarantee guests' needs are met.

Your ability to make sure that the expectations of our exclusive guests and diners are met, along with being able to provide a warm and confident greeting to our luxury environment will define your success in the role. In turn, you will be given the support to develop your own skills and career with us and, ultimately, your insight, commitment, and pride in your work will make you an integral part of the Rocco Forte family.

The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh's most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins.
