Your new opportunity

We are currently recruiting 4x part time Support Workers in Girvan offering 25 hours per week. This is a permanent role supporting adults with mental health, learning and physical disabilities in their own home and local community. You will work closely with individuals and apply a person-centred approach ensuring each person's voice is heard and they are supported with living independent lives while achieving their goals and ambitions. You will provide daily support working as part of a team assisting with cooking, activities, appointments and personal care.

Working pattern: To be considered, candidates must be flexible to be able to work a variety of shifts based on the people we supports needs. Shifts can include wakened nightshifts, early's, lates and weekends. Rota's are provided in advance and full training programme is provided to support you on your career journey in social care.

What you will need to bring to the role

• Passion for supporting people in a community based setting and accessing opportunities where people can thrive.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build long lasting trusting relationships.
• Resilient, reliable and flexible to be able to work a variety of shifts based on service needs.
• Transferrable life skills and willing to learn on the job.
