We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Support Manager to join our Learning and Development team. This will be a field-based role with regular travel as part of the role. This will be around requirement to attend meetings and deliver training nationally as agreed with the L&D Manager.

Purpose of role:

To identify business learning & development solutions through collaborating with key stakeholders, making sure the L&D Programme Manager has any relevant information before creating programmes. To design when needed, deliver, follow up and evaluate all bespoke, regional, departmental & national learning & development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with key stakeholders to identify learning solutions and make sure learning interventions are delivered to a high standard with appropriate outcomes.
  • Demonstrate a level of positive influence, expertise, challenge & questioning to find the solutions when deciding on L&D requirements with Regional/Departmental teams.
  • Maintain high balanced visibility across the business to understand the impact of any solution delivered, constantly seeking feedback and driving learning & development forward.
  • Deliver agreed business and bespoke capability development solutions as directed by the Learning & Development Manager, with an appropriately blended delivery method.
  • Deliver agreedtalent programmesfor high-potential colleagues, as directed by the Learning & Development Manager with an appropriately blended delivery method.
  • Provide the necessary specialist support across the business, feedback & delivery of Regional/Departmental & National programmes.
  • Consult and work collaboratively with the Learning & Development Programme Manager and Digital Learning Design Manager to provide a quality learning solution.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Strong experience of group and team facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience of creating engaging L&D content to a broad range of delegates
  • Experience in delivering innovative and impactful learning content using multiple delivery methods.
  • Experience of delivering blended learning programs.
  • Experience of using informal learning methods to support and embed skills transfer such as mentoring, scenario-based learning, ongoing task, and recap activities.
  • Has high standards and a strong passion for supporting colleagues to be their best and an active commitment to continuous professional development in the field of learning and development best practice.
  • The ability to project management initiatives, using technology and relationships to move projects forward.
  • Comfortable using all Microsoft applications
