Xpress is delighted to be working with this historic property based in Glasgow city centre, who are now looking to recruit a high-end Chef de Partie to complement the kitchen team and assist with running all sections within this aspiring, breathtaking property. Our client would see this as an excellent opportunity for a Chef now looking to get that better work/life balance and take on board a property with a massive vision, set within Glasgow city centre.

The Job:

As Chef de Partie you will assist the overall Kitchen team and bepartly responsible for managing and developing the existing range of products, desserts and savouries that are currently produced within the company to date. As Chef de Partie you must be able as part of your job, to be able to take initiative and be able to switch your talent from the traditional Afternoon teas to producing and developing a wide range of freshly made produce that are also on sale.

The Person:

We are ideally looking for an experienced CDP who has worked in all sections, and who can now demonstrate that knowledge, skill and drive regarding this application on why they are ready to develop their career. Applying candidates must be able to clearly demonstrate experience working at a 5-star level as well as being exposed to rosette-level cooking within a busy operational environment. As Chef de Partie you must be able to show that creative and passionate flair in all areas of responsibility across all sections, such as cakes, savouries and traditional cooking, and as a team player you must be able to communicate well, be hands-on and be a good organiser to make sure all are developing and enjoying working with you and the company.
