Job Description

A luxury lodge & hotel group based in Bryanston; Johannesburg requires an experienced Sales Executive, based in Johannesburg, to secure new business & maintain existing relationships. Ideally the candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience with a hotel group and have contacts and relationships with travel agents, corporate and government. We do require someone who is able to work independently and be target driven. Scope & General Purpose: To promote the image and services of the company so that maximum growth occurs through gaining new clients and contracts. Required to manage all aspects of sales, including sourcing and securing new business, relationship management, database management, business presentations, workshops and reports. Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience. - Matric minimum - Tertiary education in Sales & Marketing would be advantageous - Minimum 5-year sales experience in Hospitality Industry with proven track record - Previous experience in the Hospitality industry and Corporate sales essential - Excellent communication, customer service & organisation skills - Ability to conduct presentations and meetings both professionally and with confidence - Valid RSA ID - Valid Drivers License - Position includes travel - Must be available to attend functions after hours - Dynamic self-starter with excellent negotiation skills - Personality profile to match relevant skills - Proficient in English - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Team player with high level of dedication - Good negotiation skills - Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
