Senior Accountant FTC

As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports Perform Balance sheet reconciliations Interpret income statements and cashflow statements Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements Over see and perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts Ensure all entries are accurate and complete Investigate and resolve discrepancies on accounts Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts Monitor and analyze budget variances Provide insights and recommendations for corrective actions Prepare and file tax returns Ensure compliance with all tax regulations Analyze financial data Supervise and mentor junior staff Stakeholder management Payroll processing Skills & Experience: Proven experience processing payroll Minimum of 3 years in a finance-related role Proficiency in Sage and Pastel Qualification: Relevant Finance or Accounting degree Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles would be beneficial Grade 12 (Matric) Contact JENELLE COOKSON on 021 418 1750 , quoting the Ref: CTF019500 Connect with us on www.communicate.co.za and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
